Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 20, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how BenCoorp collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of our mobile applications.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using our apps, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Android Dangerous Permissions and How We Use Them
Depending on the features you use, our apps may request the following Android runtime ("dangerous") permissions. We request them only to provide the related features and do not sell or share the associated data for any other purpose.
-
Contacts (READ_CONTACTS): Display caller names, photos, and contact details on the custom call screen. Contact data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
-
Call Logs (READ_CALL_LOG): Show your recent call history inside the app. Call log data is processed locally and is not uploaded to our servers.
-
Phone (CALL_PHONE): Place calls you initiate from within the app (for example, when tapping the call button in the dialer). We do not collect the content of your calls.
-
Phone State (READ_PHONE_STATE / READ_PHONE_NUMBERS): Detect call state (incoming, outgoing, active) and the active SIM or phone number so we can present caller details and manage the in-app call UI. This information remains on your device.
-
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Capture audio only while voice-driven features (such as voice search, custom greeting, or voice notes) are active. Audio is not stored or transmitted unless required to provide the feature you selected.
-
Storage and Media (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED, ACCESS_MEDIA_LOCATION): Let you pick, view, edit, or back up photos and videos; attach media to contacts; and set wallpapers. Media is read or written locally. Location metadata in media is accessed only to support features like showing photo details and is not sent to our servers.
-
Manage External Storage (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): If you enable full file access, this lets the app manage, move, or delete files across storage for features like full gallery management or backups. Requested only when needed for those actions.
-
Camera (CAMERA): Take photos or videos from within the app (for example, to set a contact photo or wallpaper). Captured media stays on your device unless you choose to share or back it up.
-
Clipboard (READ_CLIPBOARD / WRITE_CLIPBOARD): Allow pasting numbers, links, or text into the app and copying content out (such as call details or share links). Clipboard content is handled locally.
-
Wallpaper (SET_WALLPAPER / SET_WALLPAPER_HINTS): Apply and size wallpapers you select from the app to your device home/lock screens.
-
Bluetooth (BLUETOOTH / BLUETOOTH_ADMIN): Discover or connect to nearby Bluetooth devices for printing or sharing when you choose those features. We do not collect or store device lists beyond what is needed to complete the connection.
-
Network and Connectivity (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_STATE): Check connectivity, upload/download media you choose to sync, and enable Wi-Fi Direct or nearby sharing. We do not inspect your network traffic beyond what is needed to perform these actions.
-
Location for Wi-Fi Direct / Nearby Share (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION): Required by Android to discover nearby devices over Wi-Fi Direct. Used only while you use nearby sharing and not stored.
-
NFC (NFC): Optional tap-to-share or pairing features when you actively start them. No NFC data is stored.
-
Wake Lock (WAKE_LOCK): Keep the device awake during long-running operations like uploads, downloads, or large backups to avoid interruptions.
-
Biometric Authentication (USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT): Let you lock or unlock sensitive in-app actions with fingerprint/biometric verification. Biometric data is handled by the device OS and not accessed or stored by the app.
You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. Certain features may not work without the related permission.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
-
Device Information: Information about the device you use to access our apps, such as the hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID), mobile network information, and device settings. This helps us optimize the apps for your device and troubleshoot issues.
-
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our apps, such as features used, time spent in the app, crash reports, and performance data. This helps us understand user behavior and improve our apps. We may use tools like Google Firebase Analytics for this purpose.
-
Contact Information: When you grant permission, we access contact names, numbers, and photos to display caller details. This information stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties, except as necessary for the app's functionality as described herein.
-
Call Log Information: With permission, we access call history to show recent calls in the app. This information is processed locally and is not uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties, except as necessary for the app's functionality as described herein.
-
Phone and Call Functionality: Information about call status and the active SIM or phone number (using permissions like READ_PHONE_STATE or READ_PHONE_NUMBERS) may be used to present the in-app call UI, detect call state changes, and ensure calls you place from the app use the correct SIM. This information is handled on your device.
-
Microphone Input: If you enable voice features, we temporarily capture audio to perform the requested action (for example, a voice search or greeting). Audio is not retained after the feature completes unless you choose to save it.
-
Media and Files: When you pick, edit, back up, or restore media/files, we access only the items you select. Full file access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) is requested only if you enable it for actions like moving or deleting files. Media location metadata, if accessed, is used to show details and not sent to our servers.
-
Camera Captures: Photos or videos you take in the app are saved locally and used only for the purpose you select (for example, setting a contact photo or wallpaper) unless you choose to share or back them up.
-
Clipboard Content: Text or data you paste or copy within the app is used only to complete that action and is not stored beyond the operation.
-
Network and Connectivity Information: Connectivity status (Wi-Fi/cellular), nearby device discovery data for Wi-Fi Direct/NFC/Bluetooth, and transfer status for uploads/downloads used to complete sharing or sync features. Location signals for Wi-Fi Direct discovery are not stored.
-
Biometric Verification Status: Whether a biometric unlock succeeded or failed for securing in-app actions. We do not receive or store your biometric data; it is handled by the device OS.
Note: We strive to collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the functionality of our apps.
